    • Osseointegration

    • Abutment placement

    • Crown placement

Overall, the dental implant procedure can take anywhere from 3-6 months; 2 or 3 Visits

  • Can dental implants be used to support dentures?

Yes, dental implants can be used to support dentures, providing a more stable and comfortable fit than traditional dentures alone. This is often referred to as implant-supported dentures or overdentures.

In this procedure, two to four implants are placed in the jawbone, and a special attachment is placed on the implants to snap the denture securely into place. This provides a more stable foundation for the denture, preventing slippage or discomfort, and allowing patients to eat and speak more comfortably.

Implant-supported dentures can be removable or fixed, depending on the patient's preference and individual case. Fixed implant-supported dentures are attached permanently to the implants and can only be removed by a dentist. Removable implant-supported dentures can be taken out for cleaning or maintenance, but they still attach securely to the implants using a special attachment.

  • How much do dental implants cost?

The cost of dental implants can vary depending on a variety of factors, including the number of implants needed, the type of implant, any necessary preparatory procedures, the location of the dental clinic, and any additional services required. • What is the All-on-4 treatment concept?

The All-on-4 treatment concept is a dental implant solution for patients who have lost all or most of their teeth in one or both arches (upper or lower). It involves placing four dental implants in strategic locations in the jawbone to support a fixed prosthetic bridge that replaces the missing teeth.

  • Who is a good candidate for All-on-4 dental implants?

Good candidates for All-on-4 dental implants are typically those who:

    • Have lost most or all of their teeth in one or both arches (upper or lower).

    • Have sufficient bone density and quality to support dental implants.

    • Are in good overall health, with no medical conditions that could interfere with the healing process.

    • Are non-smokers willing to quit smoking before and after the procedure?

    • Have realistic expectations and are committed to maintaining good oral hygiene and regular dental check-ups.

A consultation with a dentist or implant specialist can help determine if you are a good candidate for the All-on-4 procedure.

  • Can I eat normally with All-on-4 dental implants?

Yes, with All-on-4 dental implants, you can eat normally and enjoy most of your favorite foods. Unlike traditional dentures, which can slip or move around while eating, All-on-4 implants are securely anchored to your jawbone, providing a stable foundation for your prosthetic teeth.

However, it is important to be cautious with very hard or sticky foods, as these can put too much pressure on the implants and cause damage. Your dentist will provide you with specific instructions on what foods to avoid and how to care for your implants to ensure their long-term success.

In the first few weeks after the All-on-4 procedure, you may need to follow a soft or liquid diet while the implants heal and fuse with the jawbone. Once the healing process is complete and the final prosthetic bridge is attached, you should be able to resume your normal eating habits.

  • What are the benefits of All-on-4 dental implants?

There are several benefits to All-on-4 dental implants, including:

    • Improved aesthetics: All-on-4 implants can restore your smile and give you a more youthful appearance.

    • Faster healing time: With the All-on-4 procedure, the need for bone grafting is often eliminated, reducing the overall healing time and allowing for quicker restoration of the teeth.

    • Cost-effective: All-on-4 implants are often a more cost-effective option than replacing each individual tooth with a single implant, as only four implants are needed to support an entire arch of teeth.

  • How much does the All-on-4 procedure cost?

It costs $8,900, which includes 4 implants, 4 multi-units, temporary dentures, and final dentures.

  • What types of materials are available for dental crowns?

Metal - made from gold, platinum, or base metal alloys, these crowns are durable but can be visible in the mouth.

Porcelain fused to metal - this type of crown is a hybrid of porcelain and metal, providing the strength of metal and the natural look of porcelain.

Resin - these crowns are the most affordable option and can be made to match the color of natural teeth, but they are not as durable as other materials.

Zirconia - a strong, long-lasting material that is biocompatible and can be made to match the color of natural teeth.

E-max - a type of ceramic crown that is known for its strength and natural look.

Gold - a traditional option for dental crowns, gold is highly durable and long-lasting. However, it is not as popular as other materials due to its color.

  • What is a veneer?

A veneer is a thin, custom-made shell that is placed on the front surface of a tooth to improve its appearance. • Benefits of metal-free dental crowns.

Metal-free dental crowns offer several benefits compared to traditional metal-based crowns. They are more aesthetically pleasing as they can be color-matched to your natural teeth, and they do not contain any metals that may cause allergic reactions or other health concerns. Additionally, metal-free crowns are generally more durable and can last longer than metal-based crowns.

  • There are several materials used for dental implants denture and implant-supported prostheses, including:

PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate) - a type of plastic known for its strength and aesthetic properties.

Hybrid materials - a combination of different materials, such as PMMA and ceramic or zirconia, providing a balance of strength and aesthetics.

Metal alloys - such as titanium, known for their strength and durability.

Zirconia - a type of ceramic known for its strength and biocompatibility.

  • What is Composite Fillings?

Composite fillings, also known as tooth-colored fillings, are a type of dental filling material that is used to restore teeth that have been damaged by decay, trauma, or wear. • what is Bonding?

Bonding, in the context of dentistry, refers to a cosmetic dental procedure known as dental bonding or composite bonding. It is a relatively simple and non-invasive treatment used to improve the appearance of teeth by applying a tooth-colored resin material to the tooth surface.

During the bonding process, the dentist prepares the tooth by lightly etching its surface and applying a conditioning liquid. This helps the bonding material adhere securely to the tooth. Next, the dentist applies the tooth-colored composite resin, which is a malleable material that can be shaped and sculpted to match the natural tooth. The resin is carefully applied in layers and then hardened using a special light or laser. Once the material is set, the dentist trims and polishes it to achieve a natural and seamless look.

  • Who is candidate for veneers?

Veneers are a popular cosmetic dental treatment used to improve the appearance of teeth. While each case is unique and should be evaluated by a qualified dentist, generally, the following individuals may be considered candidates for veneers:

Discolored Teeth: People with severe tooth discoloration that does not respond well to teeth whitening treatments may benefit from veneers. This includes intrinsic stains caused by factors like medication, trauma, or natural tooth color variations.

Chipped or Worn Teeth: Veneers can effectively restore teeth that have minor chips, cracks, or excessive wear. They can help improve the shape, size, and overall appearance of damaged teeth.

Uneven or Irregularly Shaped Teeth: Veneers can be used to reshape and contour teeth that are uneven or have irregular shapes. This includes teeth that are too small, misshapen, or have noticeable gaps between them.

Mildly Misaligned Teeth: Veneers can provide a cosmetic solution for individuals with minor tooth misalignment or irregular spacing. However, if the misalignment is significant, orthodontic treatments such as braces or clear aligners may be more appropriate.

Aesthetic Enhancement: Individuals who desire a complete smile transformation and want to improve the overall aesthetics of their teeth may opt for veneers. This can include enhancing the color, shape, size, and symmetry of multiple teeth for a more harmonious smile.

It is important to note that veneers require the removal of a small amount of enamel from the tooth surface to make room for the veneer. Therefore, candidates should have healthy teeth and gums and be committed to maintaining good oral hygiene practices after the procedure.
